This project showcases how I eliminate manual data management. To keep a client’s sales team page current, I developed a robust Python script that acts as a bridge between their internal systems and their public website. Each night, the script automatically queries their On-Prem or Azure Active Directory for the latest staff contact details and updates the website’s database over API. This guarantees the information presented to customers is always accurate, freeing the team from a repetitive manual task and preventing lost leads due to outdated contact info.
Scan Receipts by Mobile Or Upload Invoices To Log Outgoings Using WordPress & API Integration
This project is a prime example of transforming WordPress into a central hub for business operations. I developed a solution to digitise the modern-day ‘shoebox’ of receipts, empowering the entire team: employees on the road can snap a photo of a fuel receipt with their phone, workshop staff can scan a parts invoice, and the office team can upload supplier PDFs directly from their email. If you've ever seen ChatGPT extract text from an image, you've seen the core technology I've harnessed here. I automated that capability into a robust and remarkably affordable workflow, with the operational cost averaging just £1 for every 500 to 1,000 invoices/receipts processed. To complete the process, the system allows for easy filtering and exporting of data ready for direct import into accounting packages like Xero and Sage, putting an end to tedious reconciliation.

This project tackles the challenge of managing quote requests from multiple channels. To streamline the client’s sales pipeline, I developed a centralised system that captures requests from both their website and direct phone calls, organising them into a single, manageable dashboard. This allows the team to efficiently price jobs, track approvals, and, with a single click, convert an approved quote into a work order for their staff. The end result is a faster, more organised workflow that prevents lost leads and reduces administrative overhead.
